Shotgun Starts and Editing Starting Holes in Golfify

In this guide, we'll explore how to set up a Shotgun Start for your event and how to edit the Starting Hole for any grouping. This functionality gives you flexibility in starting players on different holes, either simultaneously with a shotgun start or manually adjusting their starting holes.

Setting Up a Shotgun Start

To add a Shotgun Start to your event:

1. Open your event
2. Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
3. Go to Game Settings.
   • If you're managing a Multi-Round Event, first go to the Rounds section and select the round you want to apply the settings to.
4. Navigate to the Players & Tee Sheet section.
5. Toggle on the Shotgun Start option.
6. Go back and tap Save to apply the changes.

Now, when you visit the Player Manager and go to the Tee Sheet, you'll notice:

• Grouping 1 will start at Hole 1.
• Grouping 2 will start at Hole 2 at the same time as group 1, and so on.

This setup ensures that all groupings start at the same time, but from different holes—perfect for shotgun starts.
