How to Set Up a Group Stableford Event Over Multiple Rounds in Golfify

This guide will walk you through the steps to create a Group Stableford event over multiple rounds in Golfify, where the accumulated total of points from each round counts towards the team score. Follow these steps to set up your event, organize your teams, and track scores in real-time.

Step 1: Optional: Create a Main Group (You can also do this in the event).

  1. From the Home Screen, tap the plus button and select Group to create a new group.
  2. Once the group is created, it will appear at the top of your home screen. Tap the group to open it.
  3. To add players to the group, you can either:
  1. Once players are added, go to the Group Settings to split them into subgroups. You can create as many subgroups as you need (e.g., Team USA, Team Europe) by tapping the Members button and using the Plus (+) button to add players from the main group to the subgroups.

Step 2: Create the Event

  1. From the Home Screen, tap the plus button again and select Multi Round Event.
  2. Name the event (e.g., Group Stableford) and choose Group Team Only for the overall leaderboard. You can also include an Individual leaderboard if needed, but for simplicity, we'll focus on the group leaderboard.
  3. Select Stableford as the scoring method.
  4. Choose the number of teams (e.g., 2 teams) and the number of players per team (e.g., 4 players).
  5. Add Facilities for each round of the event, selecting different facilities if desired.
  6. (Optional) Customize the points system or adjust how the teams will play in each round. For this example, we'll stick with Single Stableford scoring.
  7. Tap Create to finalize the event setup.
