Change Hole Order and Sequence in Golfify

Hi everyone,

James here from Golfify! In this guide, we'll cover how to change the hole order and play sequence, including setting up a nine-hole competition or playing holes in any order you like. Golfify makes it easy to customize your game!

Accessing the Hole Settings

To edit the hole order or sequence:

1. Open your event in Golfify.
2. Go to Settings and then to Game Settings.
   • • If you're managing a Single Round Event, you'll find the settings directly under Game Settings.
   • • For Multi-Round Events, go to the Rounds section and select the round you want to edit.
3. Tap on Facilities, Course, Tees & Holes.

Setting the Number of Holes

By default, Golfify sets up all events as 18-hole events. To adjust this:

1. Scroll to the bottom and look for the Holes section.
2. You'll see all 18 holes selected by default.
3. To reduce the number of holes:
   • • Simply tap on a hole to remove it from the selection.
   • • Use the shortcuts at the top (All, Front, Back) to quickly select front nine, back nine, or all holes.
   • • This is the easiest way to set up a nine-hole competition.

Advanced Hole Selection

For more complex hole arrangements:

1. Tap the Advanced option in the top right corner.
2. This gives you a detailed breakdown of the holes.
   • • Double tap on a hole to remove it from the sequence.
   • • Add holes by tapping the holes listed above to include them in any custom order.

This flexibility allows you to play the holes in any order. For example, you can play holes 16, 17, 18, then return to play 16 and 17 again.
